Hi, I’m Maddie Grobmeier and I’m a Level 10 gymnast from Frankfort, IL. I’m 17 years old and a Senior at Lincolnway East High School. I’m currently a 3rd year level 10 at Gym-Kinetics Gymnastics Academy where I’m coached by Jim Fredrickson.

In late 2017 I verbally committed to the University of Illinois-Chicago’s Women’s Gymnastics team and was set to sign my letter of intent and officially accept their scholarship offer in November. However on August 31, 2018 UIC announced they were eliminating their gymnastics programs at the end of the 2018 season. As a result I am again looking for opportunities to continue my gymnastics career at the collegiate level in the Fall of 2019.

As an optional gymnast, I’m a 4-time Regional Qualifier in Region 5 and a 6-time Optionals State qualifier in Illinois. I have competed in 52 total meets and I’ve competed all-around (all four events) in all but four. I have been recognized as a team leader and have earned our gym’s 2 highest awards, Gymnast of the Year and Most Valuable Gymnast.

My goal is to be able to compete and contribute to a successful collegiate gymnastics program where my all around abilities will be nurtured and challenged.
